Amazing delicious food as good as in Venezuela, worth the price
Came with 6 people on a Wednesday and the service and food was amazing. The place is pretty small, but there wasn’t that many people here when we came. The Arepas were amazing!!!!! The garlic and parsley sauce was amazing. Overall loved this place will definitely be coming back.
As authentic Venezuelan joint as they come. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and shareable a plates that make it hard to order one item a person. Pepito Mixto is a must, and they make their own sauces in house which adds to the flavor.
By far, one of the most recommended places in you're in Miami, in the Coral Gables / Brickell / Coconut Grove area. Have you tried Venezuelan food? this is your must-go- to for it. Get the Arepa Santa Barbara, or a churrasco if you're in the mood for a meaty meal :) Tostones margaritenos among the best. And customer service is beyond great.
We found Doggi’s Arepa Bar via google search. The staff and the food was amazing. Delicious and tasty. The restaurant was clean as were the rest rooms. The Fiesta Salas was fresh with lots of variety. The chicken was all white meat with a nice, “cooked all day” flavor and tenderness. The arepas were light and perfect with any of the sauces provided on the table.
Amazing authentic Venezuelan food. Love it!!!
I love coming to this place. I decided to commit in driving 20 minutes with my wife. This was last month. Google Maps had this location as open and when we arrive they were renovating or doing construction work. So we end going to the restaurant next door and minutes walking in our car was being towed. I love Doggi’s but there should have been more communicative with Google Maps users about them being closed and not open as it said. Bad Experience.
Their food has that authentic taste that it makes you think youre back in Venezuela.
Never been a huge fan of Venezuelan arepas, but these are the bomb!! Generous amount of filling with a perfect crispy outside! Price is pretty fair for Miami too. There's always quite a crowd and parking may be difficult to find, so Uber/Lyft may be your best more of transportation.
I liked eating here, though it can be pricey depending on what you order. The only thing is that they didn't have most things on the menu which I found weird.
Best arepas in Miami! Amazing food and people, can't wait to go back again.
The food here always consistently. Super solid place, never had anything that wasn't delicious. My personal favorite is the pabellón arepa.
A cosy little joint that serves up Comida Venezolana (Venezuelan Food) with fast friendly service. They serve up:-Arepitas - Arepas cut into wedges served with cheese-Cachapas - Sweet corn Cakes-Arepas - Corn Bread with a variety of fillings-Patacon - A variety of fillings sandwiched in between 2 fried plantain rounds-Burgers and Hotdogs-they also serve up Breakfast✔The positives : 🔹️Great Service🔹️Very nice Presentation🔹️Table Sauces offered (you can choose what you like, and how much of it you like).✔The Negatives:🔹️The Arepa (Bread) - A bit on the dry side🔹️The Chicharron (fried pork) from the Speciality Arepa- Very Very Very Hard and Dry. Hard...not Crispy and very difficult to eat.I don't know if they were having an off day, or what was going on in the kitchen the day I visited but my food was highly disappointing.Maybe I'll give them another try to see if the food quality will be better or perhaps try another menu item if I happen to return.
Food is awesome, some of the staff isn't. I have been in Miami taking a training and been there a few times. My experiences have been not that positive with the staff, taking too long to take the order, food came in different ways that I have asked and not that friendly when taking the order. Great food again but I hope the people changes the mood.
The food was great, the staff was friendly. Casual, family friendly. However, they were a little slow towards the end when I told them my parking was expiring in 5 minutes and I needed to get out of there. I ended up getting a parking violation ticket for $45 because I ended up being over 15 minutes overdue. They still get five stars for the food though. I enjoyed it.
Worst service ever ! I am a frequently client. I called to know about my order and you employee Karla says that she can’t do nothing. That I have to wait until the delivery service arrives. Almost two hours for a delivery order. What kind of service is this?? It’s not my problem if you are not managing the delivery service. It’s your responsability that my order be on time. I’m still waiting for my order
I had one of the shredded beef and some arepa, they were amazing!!
This place is a must on your list! Venezuelan Food at its best! The place is clean and we'll operated. The food was very tastefully and good portions. The staff was attentive to is and a local lounge next door for you to complete the night out in Miami. Safe travels amigos and good eating!!
First time in a Venezuelan restaurant. Very helpful staff, delicious food & friendly atmosphere. You must try this place. 👍⭐⭐⭐
One of the good spots for arepas and Venezuelan food in Miami. Casual dining. Arepas are juicy and have a nice flavor. Everything was decent! Go and try it for yourself!
Loved this place! Patacón was excellent! Authentic Venezuelan cuisine for cheap prices. Right near the beach! Great ambiance
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. We order from them all the time, especially if when we have nothing to eat at home. Our number one choice is always Doggi's. Our favorite is the Arepa Mexicana, Arepa Papellón, and the tequeños.
Very good food and customer service.
Food was amazing and the hosts we're all super friendly and FAST great spot!
Great Venezuelan food including arepas. Friendly bilingual staff. Well worth a visit, reasonably priced .
I gave the Patacon con churrasco a try and it was absolutely flawless, delicious. It wasn't heavy, it was quiet light and refreshing. The tostones were made crispy and not greasy or salty. It has lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, white shredded cheese, a bomb, tasty sauce and exquisite churrasco. I will definitely stop by again and try something new.
Great service with authentic Venezuelan foods. The restaurant is decorated with Venezuelan phrases and photos!
Wow!! A must place for the Arepas, drinks and service was excellent!! We went twice for dinner and brunch the next day!! Loved everything!!
Very delicious experience (service was a little slow, but I ain't mad about it). Staff was very friendly, plates were tasty and well proportioned. All in all would definitely recommend if you're near.
The best place for arepas outside Venezuela. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. The food is INCREDIBLE!!!
This place has the beat arepas in Miami. Cool little joint. Very tasty food.
I have ordered from this place twice this month and both times my orders have been extremely late. I ordered through Eatstreet and was notified my order would be ready in 20 minutes but it took close to an hour! I will not be ordering from there anymore.
Great food. I had the most amazing arepa I have tasted in a while. Avocado, cheese & meat ... delicious. I don’t know why prices seem high to me. I’ve been there a few times, I loved the food but sometimes the prices make me think twice. Churros were delicious. I had the “4 Leches” also but I was disappointed.
This place has the best Arepas I have tried in any other Venezuelan place (including places IN Venezuela). I know this sounds unreal, but their arepas are unreal haha. 100% recommended if you want to try real Venezuelan food.
The location has limited space so during buddy times you'll have a short wait. That wait is absolutely worth it. The service was impeccable. Gonzalo was quick to greet the table, and much like magic, answered all our questions and concerns before we needed to say them. He expressed an intimate knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and flavors. His suggestions of: Cachapa as an App, Arepa Tripleta w/ pork belly as an entree, and the Papelón con limón as a drink were all fabulously delicious. Literally everything that came to the table was an undeniable winner. There is absolutely no reason to deny yourself the magnificence of Doggi's Arepa Bar.
Love the arepas here! 🤤
Great authentic food: Toothsome!
Almost two hours for a delivery order. I was better off ordering from a different place... I called to request an update on the status of my delivery order and they told me they didn't know an order was placed. Is this a joke? Get it together Doggi's. I usually always have a good experience whenever I visit this location but this was definitely unacceptable.
Burgers were nice but not better then in Burger King where price lower twice!
Super cute place. Great food
Me and my husband went to this place and we actually love this place! We live in nj and we wanna come back.
It was very good. I had the vegetarian arepa criolla which was delicious.
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! A definite quick and satisfying lunch spot
Arepas are a little dry for my taste, but in no way too dry. The food is average but the prices are not. Hence the 3 stars instead of four. Probably a consequence of the rental cost to have a space on Coral Way
Didn't even know what an arepa was until we came here. So fresh and tasty!
Nice little gem tucked alongside other gems. Clean & tidy with contemporary industrial flare decor. Excellent mouth watering Venezuelan cuisine. Service is quick & friendly, but the parking is terrible with so few close by and are metered. Download the app, park, pay, play. Check out the entire mini block for other great venues.
Food was good and the service was excellent
I came here with my mother and tried Venezuelan food for the first time. My mom gets very easily lost when it comes to ordering new foods, but the server was incredibly helpful and patient, explaining most of the menu to us and helping us find some delicious food. I wish I could have remembered her name because she was the best and made our experience wonderful.
My favorite arepa place. Good variety, vegetarian options. Cachapas are amazing. Really chill decor and ambience. The only complain is that the place is small, but the food is on point.
Terrible customer service and rude manager or owner.. They called me because they were out of items and when I requested an alternate to what they wanted to give me as a substitute for missing chorizo I was told to just cancel my order. Food is overpriced regardless and I'll never eat here again
